Remote Source Selection and Volume Control

The classroom is equipped with three A/V sources (Computer, DVD and VCR) and an audio-only input on a wall plate. Staff selects the audio source and sets the level through the RDL RU-ASX4DR Remote Controlled Audio Selector using a D-RC4M Four Channel Remote Control and a D-RLC10M Remote Level Control. All video signals are run directly to the projector which provides video source selection. Sources may be muted by simply de-selecting the active input at the D-RC4M or by operating the MUTE switch on the D-RLC10M. The D-CIJ3D Consumer Input Jack Panel is used to balance the stereo signal of an MP3 player or any consumer source and to provide galvanic isolation.

Inovonics introduces the new INOmini 704 Dynamic RDS Encoder

This compact hardware solution makes it easy to add dynamic RDS text messaging on a budget.

FELTON, CA — Inovonics, Inc is pleased to introduce the INOmini 704 Dynamic RDS Encoder, the company´s second-generation INOmini RDS encoder. The 704 is a dedicated hardware solution in a compact 1/3-Rack profile offering an easy and reliable way for radio broadcasters to add dynamic RDS messaging. It will make its public debut at NAB 2024 in Las Vegas on April 14 – 17.

The model 704 is somewhat historic for Inovonics, in that it is replacing the model 703 which was the very first INOmini product produced by the manufacturer and introduced at NAB in 2009.

“In designing the 704, we were challenged with producing a compact Dynamic RDS Encoder that is feature-rich but still at an attractive price,” says Ben Barber, President & CEO. “Setup and programming of the INOmini 704 is easy and straight forward. The dynamic Web interface with its full diagnostics makes this a game changer! For use on mono or stereo stations, the 704 is sure to please our industry,” he adds.

The 704 is compatible with all standard playout systems. It identifies the radio station by format, displays the station’s “street name”, and continuously updates the Artist and Song Title as provided by the playout system through a network connection.

Crafting Soundscapes with Broadcast Tools 4×4 Stereo Audio Matrix Switcher

The ACS 4.4 G2 provides matrix audio switching of 4 stereo inputs to 4 stereo outputs. Matrix switching allows any/or all inputs to be assigned to any/or all outputs.

The ACS 4.4 G2 may be controlled via its front panel rotary encoder control knob and TAKE switch, contact closures, open collectors, logic and/or the multi-drop RS-232 serial port (USB or Ethernet optional). Installation is simplified with RJ45 audio jacks for input and output connections and plug-in euroblock screw terminal connectors for expansion and remote control.
