D&R Electronica, manufacturer of broadcast consoles and signal processors, is now exclusively represented in Australia and New Zealand by AVW.
Based in The Netherlands, D&R has been operating for over 40 years and was originally founded in 1972 by Duco de Rijk and Ronnie Goene, both who continue to work in the company today. Back then D&R were extremely successful in the design of mixing consoles for the music industry that were both affordable and high quality. Initially a trend-setter in PA mixers, D&R eventually went into the studio recording sector and later, the world of broadcasting. For the last 16 years, D&R has been developing broadcast related products, such as the AIRLITE-USB, AIRMATE-USB and AIRENCE-USB mixers. With a package of products clearly aimed at various niches in the broadcast market, the future is rosy as D&R apply their specific knowledge to design products for the booming broadcast market, as demonstrated by the recent launch of a new fully digital modular “platform type” broadcast mixer.
D&R Managing Director, Duco de Rijk commented… “After thorough investigation of which company has the best people to handle our D&R Broadcast products we could only come up with AVW Broadcast Ltd for Australia and New Zealand. We are very happy that they have decided to distribute and promote our broadcast line of products, beginning February 2017.”
Established in 1983, AVW started with a goal of providing quality and affordability in AV primarily with the installation of commercial AV for public spaces, education, entertainment and hospitality. The increased demand for quality has meant that AVW has developed into a one stop shop for product diversity in the Audio, Video, Broadcast, RF Transmission and Production business areas.
AVW imports and distributes to business, end users, installers, OEM’s and resellers a comprehensive array of equipment covering a wide and varied selection of electronics. The AVW Special Services Group (SSG) offers Engineering, Design, Management and Integration Services.
