Technical Information

The RF Down-converter can receive 0.1MHz – 2.7GHz RF signal and downconverts to 75MHz IF. Capture worldwide Broadcasting standards of DTV (FM, AM, ATSC, DVB-T/H, DVB-T2/S2, DVB-C, DMB, CMMB, DTMB, ISDB-T/B, OpenCable, and ATSC-M/H), Radio Broadcasting ATV (NTSC, PAL), RDS, TMC, LTE, Wifi.

Weiver is equipped with a GPS module for accurate locative information to evaluate the strength of the RF signal. The GPS information is stored in the NMEA protocol and the GPRMC information is stored in a second log file. An active Antenna GPS is used. Weiver via input port enables the incoming reference signal to be synchronized at 10MHz frequency.

Capturing RF Signals

100 KHz to 2.7 GHz

Waiver 2.0 can capture signals in the frequency range between 100 KHz to 2.7 GHz (max). As for bandwidth, you can stretch from 1 MHz to 56 MHz.

7KG Weight Portable 70W Low Power Consumption

WAIVER 2.0 is designed for lightness and portability, operable with vehicle cigar power without complex electrical add-ons.

Bias-Tee Option

Bias-Tee is a T-shaped component attached to the signal cable to supply power to the antennas.
Amplifier (LNA, TR, FET and etc) circuits are configured in close proximity to the antennas to improve receive sensitivity, and a separate DC power supply (DC) is required to activate these active elements

Testing Signals

Waiver 2.0 is capable of recording RF signals anywhere you are. It is perfect to test the RF sensitivity or receptor capacity of your devices. With 7kg of weight and 70 watts of low power consumption, Waiver 2.0 gives you great mobility in capturing RF signals.

Extron Amplifiers Go Ultra

Ultra-Efficient • Ultra-Cool • Ultra-Reliable • Ultra Power

A decade ago Extron pioneered the use of Class D amplifiers in AV applications. We have continuously reinvented Class D with our meticulous approach to engineering and the development of unique patented technologies, designed to address the particular requirements of AV workflows and installations.

Since our team of dedicated power systems engineers designs all Extron Class D amplifiers from the ground up, including our Everlast power supplies, we know exactly what’s inside down to the component level. Each component and its placement is carefully chosen and designed into the total system for peak efficiency and reliability. This is not possible for other manufacturers who utilize offshore OEM power modules.

The XPA® Ultra lineup of ENERGY STAR qualified power amplifiers represents Extron’s ongoing commitment to innovation and taking on the challenge to put more high-performance channels in less space.

Teams Limitations and expected behaviours.

Microsoft Teams Rooms does not support HDCP input, which has been observed to cause issues with HDMI to ingest functionality (video, audio) when using a front or room TV display. A low-cost Workspace Controller can be used to enable these screens. More info Full article from Microsoft

Limitations and expected behaviors

Microsoft Teams Rooms does not support HDCP input, which has been observed to cause issues with HDMI ingest functionality (video, audio). Take care to ensure that switches connected to Microsoft Teams Rooms have HDCP options turned off.

If you desire a front of room display to automatically switch to an active video source (such as an MTR console) when the source wakes from standby mode, certain conditions must be met. This feature is optional but supported by Microsoft Teams Rooms software, provided underlying hardware supports the feature. A consumer TV used as a front of room display needs to support the Consumer Electronics Control (CEC) feature of HDMI. Depending on the dock or console selected (which might not support CEC, refer to manufacturer support documentation), a workspace controller such as an Extron HD CTL 100 may be needed to enable the desired behavior.

Always use a wired 1-Gbps network connection to assure you have the needed bandwidth.

If your Microsoft Teams Rooms device loses trust with the domain, you won’t be able to authenticate into the device and open up Settings. For example, if you remove the Microsoft Teams Rooms from the domain after it is domain joined, trust is lost. The workaround is to log in with the local Admin account.

The 64-bit version of Windows 10 Enterprise Anniversary edition (English language, version 1607) is no longer supported as of Microsoft Teams Rooms release 3.0.12.0.

Microsoft Teams Rooms is a multi-window application and requires a front of room display to be connected to the HDMI port of the device, for the app to function correctly. Make sure that you either have an HDMI display connected or use a dummy HDMI plug if you are testing and do not have a display purchased yet.
