Extron is working with HP to create scalable meeting solutions for modern workspaces. We are integrating room automation, audio, and signal extension capabilities with the HP Elite Slice G2, Microsoft Teams Rooms^®, and Zoom Rooms™ solutions. Our partnership with HP brings Extron audiovisual control capabilities to the HP Elite Slice G2 providing complete AV and conferencing control across the enterprise. With this new solution, a simple tap on the HP Center of Room Control screen can control call volume for the room as well as send commands that trigger automation events for display control, shades, lighting, and more.

As part of this conferencing, control, and automation ecosystem, occupancy sensors can also be added to automate system power to turn on displays when participants enter a room and turn them off when the room is empty.

The ON-AIR Light Company’s product line consists of 4 different styles of lights, Retro, A-Frame, Simple, and Mega. Housings are formed from highly polished aluminium. Backplates for mounting are Galvanealed folded steel. Our lenses are sign grade transparent, white Lexan, and vinyl. Standard vinyl colors are Blue, Red, and Black. Standard lens legends are ON-AIR, RECORDING, APPLAUSE, and SILENCE. Custom vinyl colors, text and graphics are available as well as custom color powder coating of the housings. All lights are available with LED illumination either 12 volts or 120 volts. Retro, Simple, and A-Frame can be ordered with an incandescent light source at 12, 24, 120, or 220 volts. D&R GSM Studio Hybrid

With the D&R GSM Hybrid, you can add a simple and effective wireless interface that your reporters can call. With features like HD voice, Echo cancelling, digital EQ and application control over USB on your PC it is a nice tool to expand the communication possibilities of your studio with your reporters in the field.

The D&R GSM Hybrid has its own number reporters directly can dial, the call can be taken on the mixing console due to built-in GPIO’s.
The electronics are housed in a sturdy metal 9.5″ rack mount case with antenna’s on the front side for optimum receiver conditions.
An external 12-volt power supply adapter is part of the delivery. Software features are in and output metering and level control, phone dialling, number recognition and GSM signal strength indication.

The Alert feature is implemented to let a reporter in the field ‘wake-up’ a DJ behind the desk to start an interview. Assumed is that a connection is already there and the DJ is doing some other work in the studio while the reporter waits for the moment to start the interview. On that moment the reporter only has to press the ‘0’ on his phone to Alert the DJ. In the main window of the D&R GSM Hybrid Control application, the background starts blinking red for 2 seconds. Also, the GPO output alternates with this Alert signal. Doing so, the DJ knows the reporter is ready for the interview and he can mix in the reporter to the show.

New features (October 2019)

New Address book is added to the software with number recognition.
Auto Connect: The application ‘GSM Hybrid Control’ automatically connects to the device on start-up or re-connect if USB connection is lost.
Auto Answer: The application now picks up the line after one ring signal. A black/white list of numbers is under design.
All settings done in the application are now stored in the internal GSM memory. It means the GSM Hybrid works independently from a running application once programmed and can be used in the field without a PC.
A fast Factory Reset is possible by pushing the CONNECT button 15 seconds.
