The Challenge

Teaching media production requires equipment that is both functional and easy to use. The University of Cambodia needed a camera system that could provide clear visuals for different scenarios—wide shots for group settings and close-ups for detailed demonstrations—while being simple enough for students to operate as they build their skills.

The Telycam Solution

With support from Broadcast Technology Limited, Telycam provided PTZ cameras tailored to these educational needs. The cameras offered a reliable and flexible setup for learning:

  • Wide-Angle Coverage: They captured full views of lecture halls and group activities, keeping everyone in frame with good clarity.
  • Zoom Flexibility: Adjustable zoom let students focus on specific details, useful for practicing media techniques.
  • Straightforward Controls: The PTZ features were easy to manage, helping students gain confidence as they worked.

This setup gave students a practical way to learn media production, connecting theory to real-world use.

The Result

The University of Cambodia project, made possible by Broadcast Technology Limited, gave students access to the Vision+ 4KN PTZ camera, which supported their training with clear, adaptable visuals. Faculty and students valued the hands-on practice, which helped prepare the next wave of media professionals. Interested in how Telycam fits into education?
