New DTP3 Transmitter for USB-C with 100 Watt Power Delivery

dt_60207052_dsg0101nrr_dv30

Introducing the DTP3 T 211, a long distance transmitter for sending USB-C video and bidirectional RS-232 signals up to 330 feet (100 meters) over a shielded CAT 6A cable. The transmitter can provide up to 100 watts of charging power to the USB-C source when deployed with the Extron UPI 100 power injector. The transmitter supports video resolutions up to 4K/60 at 4:4:4 color sampling, EDID Minder®, and HDCP 2.3. For maximum image quality and minimal latency, all supported video resolutions are transported without compression. The compact enclosure size and remote power capability make the DTP3 T 211 ideal for discreet placement in lecterns, beneath tables, or wherever needed to meet application requirements.

The DTP3 T 211 enables the reliable, long distance transmission of USB-C DisplayPort alt-mode video while providing an HDMI loop-out for convenient local monitoring. In addition, the DTP3 output can be configured to send video and embedded audio, plus bidirectional RS-232 signals to an HDBaseT-enabled display. It is backward compatible with first-generation DTP-enabled products.

Key Features

  • Transmits USB-C video and control up to 330 feet (100 meters) over a shielded CAT 6A cable

Live content preview Enhances New Version of Videowall Configuration Software

vc_1170_dsg0101err_dv30

We are pleased to announce the immediate availability of the latest version of VCS – Videowall Configuration Software for Quantum Ultra videowall processors. This update provides new features specifically applicable to Quantum Ultra II systems.

New in this Release

  • Live content preview
  • Support for Quantum IN4DTP3 input and OUT4DTP3 cards
  • SSH for RS-232 Insertion

Sources originating from IN4HDMI 4K PLUS, IN4FOX3, and IN4DTP3 cards in Quantum Ultra II systems can now be displayed in the VCS GUI as a reduced-frame rate source preview. Picture-file preview is available for both Quantum Ultra and Quantum Ultra II systems.

VCS is now fully compatible with the new Quantum IN4DTP3 input and OUT4DTP3 cards, which integrate DTP3 twisted-pair distribution directly into a Quantum Ultra II system. A firmware update is required to support these cards.

VCS version 1.18.0 coincides with the release of new Quantum Ultra firmware 6.03.

Extend the Reach of Your Quantum Ultra II Videowall System with New DTP3 Cards

Quantum IN4DTP3 and Quantum OUT4DTP3

qu_quantum4dtp3g01_dsg0201nrr_dv30

We are now shipping our new Quantum® DTP3 input and output cards for long-distance signal extension for videowall systems. The Quantum IN4DTP3 is a four-input card that eliminates the need for DTP3 receivers when source devices are located a long distance from the Quantum Ultra II processor. Each input on this card allows selection of either twisted pair or HDMI formats, and power insertion enables remote powering of DTP3 or DTP® transmitters.

The Quantum OUT4DTP3 card has four DTP3 outputs, eliminating the need for DTP3 transmitters when the displays are located a long distance from the processor. Each DTP3 output features a corresponding buffered HDMI output and power insertion to remotely power DTP3 or DTP receivers. Both cards support signals up to 4K/60 at distances up to 330’ (100 m). Configured with Quantum DTP3 input and/or output cards, Quantum Ultra II videowall processors simplify signal extension for your large venue projects and mission-critical environments.

Key Features

  • Compatible with DTP3 and DTP extension products for integration of video and audio twisted pair distribution within a DTP3 system architecture
  • Supports 4K/60 signals on a single channel for easy source integration and increased I/O capabilities that reduce system complexity and cost
  • Power insertion for DTP3 or DTP endpoints
  • Supports DTP3, DTP, and XTP® twisted pair formats
  • Each input on the IN4DTP3 supports either twisted pair or HDMI signal formats
  • Buffered HDMI outputs on the OUT4DTP3 facilitate driving a secondary set of local displays, audio de-embedding, streaming, or recording equipment
  • Embedded audio support passes audio between input and output cards, or audio can be sent to a Dante network using a Quantum OUT32AT card
  • RS-232 signals can be inserted from the Quantum Ultra II Ethernet control port, providing a simplified method to remotely control source devices
