The EDID 121 is an EDID emulator for 8K HDMI sources that supports up to four EDID memory blocks to accurately convey sink capabilities. Featuring EDID Minder® Plus, an Extron-exclusive technology, it supports additional memory blocks needed for advanced display capabilities such as resolutions up to 8K, including 5K for Microsoft® Teams® rooms. The EDID 121 automatically manages and maintains EDID communication to ensure content starts at the optimal resolution and frame rate. Pre-stored EDID information is sent to a source based on the user-selected resolution and refresh rate. The emulator can also capture and store the EDID profile from a connected display. It supports signals up to 8K/60 at data rates up to 40.1 Gbps with HDR.

The UCS 504, a 4K collaboration switching transmitter and scaling receiver kit that combines AV and USB switching with twisted pair signal extension is now shipping. With USB cameras, microphones, and other peripheral devices becoming more common in small meeting spaces, the ability to connect users’ laptops to devices at multiple locations in a room has become critical to a successful meeting experience. The UCS 504 supports switching up to six USB room devices, with one that supports rates up to USB 10Gbps, and five that support rates up to High Speed (USB 2) while providing power. The system supports auto-switching and automation capabilities including CEC, RS‑232, or IR control to a display. It also uses a single CATx cable to extend the video and High Speed (USB 2) signals up to 330 feet (100 meters) between the transmitter and receiver for streamlined installation. The NF 4C LP is a PoE powered, Dante®-enabled 4″ ceiling speaker that includes an integrated four channel audio amplifier and DSP. The NF 4C LP receives signal and power over a single network cable.
