Extron is pleased to announce two new models in the SW HD 4K PLUS Series of HDMI switchers that support data rates up to 18 Gbps and signals up to 4K/60 with 4:4:4 color sampling. The six-input SW6 HD 4K PLUS and eight-input SW8 HD 4K PLUS switchers are HDCP 2.2 compliant and support HDR, 12-bit Deep Color, 3D, and HD lossless audio formats. The switchers are easy to operate using the front panel controls or auto-switching, while Ethernet, RS-232, and contact closure ports provide ample options for integration with any control system. Both models feature EDID Minder®, which maintains continuous EDID communication with connected devices and ensures that the HDMI sources power up properly and maintain correct video output.

Setting a new benchmark in Broadcast Audio the new Linear Acoustic ARC Loudness Control System Provides a User-Definable Loudness Target with simple set up. The Linear Acoustic® ARC Loudness Control System featuring a state-of-the-art APTO® loudness adaptation algorithm from the Telos Alliance TV Solutions Group.
With much of the world’s television audio still delivered in stereo then high-quality loudness control shouldn’t be out of reach in regions where multi-channel audio, high channel density or coded audio aren’t necessarily required. ARC offers a key feature that matters most: The best possible audio and additional features, with broadcasters no longer needing to compromise between audio quality and affordability.
ARC (Automatic Real-time Control) supports two independent audio programs via AES, SDI, and Livewire+ AES67 I/O, making it fully compliant with SMPTE 2110. Its easy-to-use web-based user interface ensures a simplified remote experience on any device, browser, or OS.
Australasian Broadcasters already familiar with Linear Acoustic capabilities will appreciate the ARC’s “set and forget” LUFS output loudness target and selectable profiles, the system is embedded with next-generation television loudness processing in a compact 1RU package.

The SF 26PT is available in black or white and is paintable to fit in with any décor. The included Extron-exclusive PendantConnect™ speaker cable combines the speaker wires and steel support cables within a single outer jacket, providing a finished installation that is clean and secure. The UL listed SF 26PT offers both direct 8 ohm and 70/100 volt operation and is voiced similarly to the Extron SF 26CT for consistency and installation flexibility in mixed ceiling environments. The SF 26PT joins the SF 3PT to expand the line of Extron pendant speakers.
